Notification to authors
Submitting authors will be notified of the status of their abstracts by the end of April.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The Committee welcomes abstract submissions of high scientific quality on all topics relating to research and education in primary care.

There will be oral and poster presentations and workshops.

The work submitted as an abstract should not be in print as a paper in a peer review journal at the time of submitting the abstract to the annual scientific meeting.

It is a condition of submitting an abstract that the presenting author of any form of presentation must register to attend the conference.

Oral Presentation in a parallel session
Slots of 15 minutes (including questions) will be allocated

Workshop
Abstract submissions are invited for a 90 minute workshop on the topic of your choice

Poster Presentations
These sessions will be facilitator led discussion sessions in a meeting room. Digital poster presenters will be asked to present one power point slide summarising their work. Guidance and a sample will be provided.

AUDGPI Registrars' programme
Abstract submissions are invited for oral and poster presentations. Please submit your abstract using the presentation abstract above and in the subject area section click AUDGPI GP Registrar as well as any appropriate subjects.

Prizes
There will be prizes for the best two posters in the main SAPC ASM programme and a prize for an oral and a poster presentation within the AUDGPI GP Registrars' programme.

Criteria for the assessment of abstracts

Abstracts will be assessed in terms of importance, originality, aims and objectives, appropriateness of methods, results, implications, conclusions and likelihood of provoking discussion.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
Presenters should submit their abstract on-line by clicking the button for either presentation or workshop forms above. The forms contain full instructions for abstract completion. Those submitting abstracts for the AUDGPI Registrars' programme should click the AUDGPI box (the first box) in the subject section of the abstract form.

Once you have submitted your abstract you will receive an automatically generated receipt. If you do not receive a receipt within 24 hours please contact the Secretariat.

Notification of the status of abstracts will be emailed at the end of April.
