Welcome reception and buffet supper 18.30 – 22.00
Discovery Point, Dundee
A chance to walk on board Captain Scott’s ship the RRS Discovery and tour the wonderful new visitor centre while enjoying supper in the company of colleagues.

Coaches will depart St Andrews University at 18.30 and return from Dundee departing at 21.00 the journey time is approximately 30 minutes so coaches will arrive in St Andrews at 21.30.
Tickets included in fee for delegates registering to attend the whole meeting, not included for day delegates (cost £30).

Conference dinner 19.30 – 24.00
Old Course Hotel, St Andrews
Dine in the Hall of Champions at this world famous hotel which is located on the edge of St Andrews a short walk from the University and next to the most famous hole of golf in the world. After dinner, try out your Scottish Dancing skills and keep apace with Ceilidh band Cutting Edge.
The Hotel is located on the edge of St Andrews approximately 5 minutes walk from New Hall and the Rusacks Hotel and 10 minutes from the University.
Ticket price: £55.
Kilt hire for dinner (optional)
Kirk Wynd Highland House Ltd can offer kilt hire for the evening of the dinner.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

17.30 to 18.30 Four nations mixed competitions:
Volley ball tournament on the beach (indoors if bad weather)
Sand art or sand castle building (weather permitting)
Putting competition on the Himalayas

Friday 10th July 2009 14.00
• A golf competition based on stableford points will be held on the afternoon of Friday 10th July starting at 14.00 followed by prize giving and dinner at 18.30 in the Links Club House. Places are limited to 16 players.
The courses that will be used for the competition are the New Course and the Eden Course to allow the expert and the enthusiastic golfers to enjoy their round. The New “is a classic links course which is a first class golfing challenge”. Green fee £75.
The Eden “is a course of character but slightly less testing and more forgiving than the three courses lying on the seaward side”. Green fee £50.
Dinner will be charged at cost and a golf booking form will be sent to you about one month before the conference.
To register your interest please tick the appropriate box on the registration form, give your handicap, your preferred choice of course and whether or not you intend to stay for dinner. The organisers will do their best to accommodate your course preference. Payment for the green fees and, if required, dinner will be requested in advance separately from the registration fee.
