Welcome reception
17.30 - 19.00 at the Sainsbury Visitor and Arts Centre, UEA Campus


Come and join our hosts for a drink and light snacks at one of UEA’s most stunning modern buildings. Guests are free to explore the exhibitions within the art gallery housed in the Sainsbury Centre.



Tickets for this event are included in the the delegate fee for those attending the full meeting. Day registrants and guests may purchase tickets for £20 via the registration form.



After the welcome reception


Mississippi River Boat Trip
Buffet supper served on board the Southern Comfort.

Coaches will depart UEA near the Sainsbury Centre at 18.30 and will be back at UEA at approximately 23.00.



The Southern Comfort is a double-deck paddle boat built for the Norfolk Broads. The boat departs from the beautiful village of Horning on the River Bure and travels out to Ranworth Broad through beautiful scenery.



Buffet supper and drinks will be served on board to the sound of the Midlife Crisis Band.


Tickets - £25 per head may be purchased via the registration form.
Please note the maximum capacity for this trip is 80 tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Please make your own dining arrangements.

Delegates are free to make their own arrangements for dinner or sign up for the Mississippi River Boat trip. For those wishing to dine in Norwich coaches will be provided for transport into central Norwich at the close of the drinks reception at 19.30. You may wish to reserve tables in advance direct with a restaurant.

Ziggurat challenge

17.00 - 18.00 UEA campus, open to all ages and abilities.
This is a team event, you can enter as a team of 3 or the organisers will make up a team for you. Walk, run, cycle around one circuit of the Broad on campus all at your own pace - you will have to predict the time your team will take to complete the circuit. More details to follow. This event is free of charge.
